One Tail at a Time Rescue is an amazing dog rescue located in MA.  This rescue is 100% volunteer, therefore 100% of all donations go directly to saving dogs and puppies.

 In the South, many dogs roam the streets as strays...never having lived inside a house before, never having a comfy bed to sleep on, never having plentiful food and water.  Other dogs are turned in to shelters by their owners, this is known as "owner surrender."  There are many reasons for this: new baby in the home, owners are moving, dog is too much work or money, dog grew too big...rescues and shelters have heard every excuse in the book. 

Whatever the reason is that a dog ends up in a shelter, often times their chances of being adopted are grim.  Millions of dogs and puppies are put to sleep (euthanized) every year because the shelters are overcrowded and people still continue to buy their pets from stores and breeders.
